Color blind is an artistic experimentation on feelings and emotions. It plays with the overlapping of acrylic paint over time and marker filling in some gaps. This experiment led me to an understanding of the dissatisfaction we artists feel about our works. During the process of creating this piece, I had hesitations. The adding of layers lasted for three months until I finally asked myself: when do I stop? When will I ever be satisfied with my work? I realized how greedy we are as humans. We are never satisfied and try to perfect things in this world without really letting go of things the way they should be. We are colorblind to the colors that already exist in our lives.
